Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Deposit
To secure the booking for your event, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee is required at the time of booking. This deposit guarantees the date for your event. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than one month prior to the wedding date.
2. Payment
The total fee for services must be settled no later than 30 days before the wedding date. Failure to pay the full balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of the booking, and the deposit will be forfeited.
3. Cancellation Policy
If the client wishes to cancel their booking, the following fees apply:
Cancellation under a month of the event: 100% of the total fee is due.
Cancellation between 1 and 6 months of the event: 50% of the total fee is due.
Cancellation more than 6 months before the event: Security deposit held.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing, and any fees due must be paid within 14 days of the cancellation.
4. Artist’s Right to Withdraw Services
The vocalist and their team take pride in delivering high-quality performances. In the event that the singer’s equipment is mistreated or damaged, or if the artist is subjected to any form of disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour, they reserve the right to cease the performance and leave the venue. In this event, no refund will be issued, and the full fee will still be due.
5. Equipment and Set-Up
The vocalist will provide all necessary equipment for the performance. The client is responsible for ensuring there is a safe and appropriate space for set-up. The artist will not be held liable for any delays or issues arising from the venue’s lack of suitable facilities.
6. Performance Duration
The performance schedule will be agreed upon prior to the event. Any changes to the agreed schedule must be discussed and confirmed at least one month prior to the wedding date. Any additional performance time may incur extra fees.
7. Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or extreme weather, that prevent the vocalist from performing, the client will be informed immediately, and all efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, any payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be returned in full.
8. Liability
The artist will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of their equipment. However, the client will be responsible for any damage to the equipment caused by guests or venue staff. The artist is not liable for any injury or damage caused during the event unless it is due to their own negligence.
By booking the wedding singer’s services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
